The Role

Within our growing HR Systems and Compliance Team, we are looking for a talented HR Administrator who is ready to showcase their attention to detail and strong organisational skills to deliver an outstanding onboarding experience to our Affinity-ites.

In this role, you will be responsible for the prompt and accurate centralised onboarding and amendment of employment details for all Affinity Education Group centre-based employees into our human resources information system (HRIS) to ensure full compliance with all required regulations and internal processes.

Responsibilities

  • On-boarding of new employees in the HRIS nationally.
  • Ordering of uniforms for all new hires.
  • Creation and management of employee files (electronic and manual).
  • Preparation of employment contracts, letters to employees and HRIS reports, as directed by the Systems & Compliance Manager.
  • Auditing employee files to ensure employee data is compliant with FairWork and Award Requirements, and up to date.
  • Answering the People & Culture phone and providing support as/when required.
  • Assisting with audits of the HR employee database and related files.
  • Validation of employee compliance documentation.
  • Compiling data from HRIS to generate HR monthly reports (as required).

About you!

  • You will have equivalent work experience in an administrative role or a degree in Human Resource Management
  • You are confident and capable in a range of office equipment and the Microsoft suite of applications
  • You have exceptionally strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to self-manage competing priorities and adapt within a constantly changing environment
  • You are eager to learn and ready to take on challenges that come your way
  • You bring a 'can do’ positive outlook with a strong team focus
  • You have experience in producing reports and data analysis
  • Ability to understand and successfully navigate a complex HRIS (previous experience within SuccessFactors is advantageous)
  •  You have experience in early childhood education and care industry (advantageous)
