The Role

Reporting directly to the State Manager of Queensland, the purpose of this role is to provide commercial leadership and operational direction to multiple childcare centres based across the Gold Coast suburbs to ensure they operate in accordance with the Affinity Education Group Visions and Philosophy. Travel is a must! 

Responsibilities

  • Operationally work with centres to make them leaders in the industry
  • Ensuring all centres are compliant with all regulatory requirements
  • Implementing and monitoring of centre policies and procedures
  • Developing centre leadership
  • Proactively leading a team and providing regular coaching opportunities related to business acumen and the childcare profession
  • Overseeing and supporting Nominated Supervisors with performance management
  • Monitoring and supporting Educators, Educational Leader and Nominated Supervisors around the National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning Framework
  • Managing customer queries
  • Monitoring of maintenance and Networking with legislative bodies

Experience and Qualifications

  • Successful track record as an Area Manager within the Early Education Sector (preferred)
  • Diploma in Business or equivalent (preferred)
  • Diploma in Children’s Services, or equivalent (desirable)
  • Strong commercial acumen including the ability to use business data effectively to achieve results
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral, with a very professional customer service focus
  • Childcare software – Storypark Manage and CCMS (desirable)
  • Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills with high attention to detail
  • Energetic, action oriented with a passion for mentoring and leading teams
  • A willingness and ability to travel between centres
  • Current drivers’ licence

This is a permanent full time position working Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week.
