The Role

Reporting directly to the People & Culture Acquisitions Manager you will support our Acquisitions and Operations team to identify and resolve key staffing challenges for new centres being acquired into the Affinity Education Group (AEG) portfolio. You will support during their transition phase (estimated to be approximately 12 weeks), and will support with identifying, developing, and mapping their internal talent.



  • Work closely with the Operations and Acquisitions teams to review and identify recruitment vacancies of upcoming acquisitions
  • Prepare and place advertisements for vacant roles across various platforms
  • Complete Talent Search using PageUp and Seek Talent Search to identify suitable candidates for vacant roles 
  • Conduct pre-employment checks such as reference checks, visa verification, WWCC linking and validation and National police checks (if applicable)
  • Attending weekly Acquisitions and Divestment team meetings
  • Provide regular progress updates to Operations, Acquisitions, and People & Culture team regarding recruitment from identification to onboarding


Qualifications and Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree essential, preferably in human resources management or related field or equivalent level of experience, training, and education
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in Recruitment
  • Ability to obtain a Working with Children Check or Blue Card
  • Experience in partnering with all business levels including Service staff, Senior management and Executive teams.
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable to meet operational needs of the business and embrace change

Based in Brisbane (CBD), this is a Permanent Full-Time position, working 38 hours per week (Monday - Friday)!
