The Role

Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for managing the family accounts team supporting the area and centre managers to ensure due process is being followed to avoid the accumulation of debt. Through the management of the centres and areas, you will identify and resolve key issues before they result in an accumulation of debt, as well as supporting the centres and fellow family accounts team members in having the right conversations to recover debt. 

Some of the key responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for collection of outstanding family debt
  • Send letters, emails, texts and call families in line with Debt Management processes
  • Manage Debt Management inbox
  • Process payments for outstanding accounts
  • Keep current policies and procedures up to date
  • Bring innovative solutions to debt issues to address potential debt issues before they arrive
  • Daily support centre managers, using reporting tools, with account queries, outstanding account arrears and new debt amounts

You will have:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience within a similar role (Debt Management/Recovery or Accounts Receivable experience)
  • Data Entry Experience
  • Management of a small team
  • Accounts Receivable/Debt Recovery or related qualification (highly desirable)
  • Intermediate Excel and Intermediate Word
