Working within a close knit team, you will be a key player in the origination and executions processes, your responsibilities will include modelling/valuation review, industry/market analysis, preparation of board papers and progressing acquisitions and divestments through to settlement post board approval. 


Some of the key responsibilities include:

  • Support the team with acquisition and divestment execution including financial modelling, valuation and research, due diligence management, preparing reports  and analysing business models.
  • Analyse financial data and create financial models for decision support
  • Provide insights and recommendations to the Executive Team and the Board by analysing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses;
  • Perform market research, data mining, business intelligence, and valuation comps
  • Preparation of materials to support Board and management reports
  • Post board approval progress acquisitions and divestments through to settlement
  • Undertake post-acquisition reviews of performance


You will already have: 

  • 3-5 years relevant experience in mergers and acquisitions / corporate advisory
  • High proficiency in financial modelling techniques
  • Strong fluency with Excel formulas and functions
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics (preferred)
  • Strong analytical and data gathering skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate insights with confidence to the executive team and Board
  • Ability to work at a high level of intensity



1 x Permanent Full-time position to start immediately (38 hours per week, 8.30am - 5pm)
