About our Centre

Welcome to Early Learning Centre Lakes Entrance! Our vibrant and creative 65-place centre has so much heart and soul - it's run by enthusiastic, fun-loving educators who are ready to give you a warm welcome! Lakes Entrance is a close-knit community and we connect with local businesses, events, charities, schools and services to enrich the early education of the children in our care. We're dedicated to helping our children reach their full potential through the Lifelong Learning approach, which is based on play-based learning incorporating the best of early childhood theorists including Montessori and Reggio Emilia. We are also well-supported by a dedicated Quality Team helping us meet the NQS.

The role

This role allows your creativity, enthusiasm and love of learning to shine.

Design, implement, and evaluate educational programs for individuals and groups of children that inspire them to investigate, create and explore.

Join a team of educators who truly support each other in implementing programs, adapting to children’s needs and interests and having lots of fun!

About you

• Experienced in implementing and evaluating educational programs and practices across each room to ensure compliance with the EYLF and National Quality Standards
• Able to monitor and contribute positively to all educator’s documentation, analysis of children’s learning, planning and participation.
• Skilled in leading discussion with educators to reflect on their practice, interactions, intentional teaching and other strategies
• Keen to develop a strong working relationship with your Centre Manager (Centre Director) to inform of audit outcomes and recommendations
• Ability to drive the centre bus for school pick ups

You already have

• Certificate III in Children’s Services or study towards an approved early childhood education diploma qualification
• A current Working with Children’s Check or equivalent
• Good knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework
• Ability to support the centre to meet the National Quality Standards
• Mature and positive communication skills
• Current driver’s licence, first aid certificate (including asthma and anaphylactic training) and resuscitation certificate
