About our Centre
Welcome to Abacus Child Care Centre! Our 75-place centre is managed by a wonderful and highly dedicated team of early childhood professionals - and they are ready to give you a warm welcome! About you
- Committed to caring for children of all ages, cultures, social-economic and individual backgrounds
- Able to contribute to a friendly, smooth and continuously improving centre environment, where children feel safe and families feel welcome
- Passionate about creating exciting and stimulating children’s learning environments
- Keen to learn how to manage daily care routines, and associated administrative and compliance tasks
- Aware of the importance in maintaining health and safety standards, and risk minimisation

You already have
- Current studying towards an approved Certificate III in Children’s Services (or ACECQA-approved equivalent) or willingness to commence a Traineeship through the Affinity Learning Academy.
- Current Working with Children check or ability to obtain
- Reliable transport to and from our centre
- Current first aid certificate (including asthma and anaphylactic training) and resuscitation certificate or ability to obtain
