About our Centre

Welcome to Riverstone Rise Early Learning Journey! Our vibrant and creative 107-place centre has so much heart and soul - it's run by enthusiastic, fun-loving educators who are ready to give you a warm welcome! We connect with local businesses, events, charities, schools and services to enrich the early education of the children in our care. We're dedicated to helping our children reach their full potential through the Lifelong Learning approach, which is based on play-based learning incorporating the best of early childhood theorists including Montessori and Reggio Emilia. About you

• Committed to caring for children of all ages, cultures, social-economic and individual backgrounds
• Able to contribute to a friendly, smooth and continuously improving centre environment, where children feel safe and families feel welcome
• Passionate about creating exciting and stimulating children’s learning environments
• Keen to learn how to manage daily care routines, and associated administrative and compliance tasks
• Aware of the importance in maintaining health and safety standards, and risk minimisation

You already have

• Willingness to commence a Traineeship through the Affinity Learning Academy or currently studying towards an approved Certificate III in Children’s Services (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
• Current Working with Children check or willingness to obtain one
• Reliable transport to and from our centre
• Current first aid certificate (including asthma and anaphylactic training) and resuscitation certificate
