Affinity Education Group is Australia’s fastest-growing provider of early education and child care. We’ve created a role for a Marketing and Communication Specialist who will be responsible for creating and implementing a broad range of projects.

Use your creative marketing and communication skills to support child care industry leaders, teachers and educators who are dedicated to inspiring and nurturing children during their first five years of life. Create compelling and highly engaging digital and print campaigns to build our brands and educate our stakeholders.  Develop and support commercially-relevant marketing and business initiatives to help us achieve our ultimate goal: connecting with Australian families.

Project management and budgeting experience are essential.

About your role:

Reporting to the Head of Brand and Communication, you will be able to confidently deliver high quality concepts and execution for the following:

• Customer-focused campaigns which tell great stories and deliver key business messages via video, blog content, social media and other channels
• National and local publicity for our child care centre communities
• Digital content strategy and execution through Facebook and Google
• Internal stakeholder-focused campaigns through channels including email, newsletters, and our internal social network (similar to Yammer)
• Local area marketing planning and support
• Stakeholder engagement initiatives incorporating survey design, execution and data analysis
• Graphic design concept development
• Support for crisis or issues management
• Industry partnerships

To be successful in this role you will need;

• More than 5 years’ demonstrated experience in a similar role
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills including accurate editing and content for a wide variety of purposes and audiences
• Demonstrated strong organisational skills, in particular the ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and plan and deliver a project;
• Digital campaign experience utilizing Facebook, Google, YouTube, LinkedIn and Instagram
• Experience managing suppliers, merchandise orders and budget tracking

Your highly regarded skills

• SEO / SEM / Digital marketing campaign experience
• Adobe Design Suite - Photoshop and/or InDesign
• Brand management
• Survey Monkey and MailChimp
• Content management for websites and Facebook
